Joshua Gillingham is a Canadian author from the scenic coastal city of Nanaimo, Canada. The Gatewatch, a troll hunting saga, is his first full length novel and was published by Crowsnest Books in May 2020. His award-winning articles on writing have been featured by the Federation of BC Writers, he hosts a popular Author Q&A on his blog, and he facilitates workshops for Fantasy writers in Vancouver and Victoria. Upcoming projects include the sequel the The Gatewatch through Crowsnest Books, an anthology of historical Viking fiction with co-editor Muhammad Aurangzeb Ahmad, an Old Norse phrasebook with fellow author Ian Stuart Sharpe, and a card game set in Viking Age Iceland through through Outland Entertainment.
